Sources of Technical Information on Chromium Plating

Q. I would like to know where could I get some information about the mechanism of chromium plating, concerning the Helmholtz double layer and the difusion layer. I would like some books or literature about it. Thank you very much

A. Here are some sources for you: 1) N.V. Mandich, "Chemistry & Theory of Chromium Deposition: Part II - Theory of Deposition", Plating and Surface Finishing Magazine, p.108 (May. 1997).

2) N.V. Mandich, "Chemistry & Theory of Chromium Deposition: Part II - Theory of Deposition", Plating and Surface Finishing Magazine, p.97 (Jun. 1997).

3) L.E. Vaaler, M.F. El-Shazly and E.W. Brooman, "High-Speed Chromium Plating Using Enhanced Mass Transfer", Plating and Surface Finishing Magazine, p.50 (Aug. 1987).

Item 2 is the most extensive and technical in nature.
