N & P Treatment Costs

Q. Where would I go to find the cost range to remove a pound of N of pound or pound of P from a wastewater stream?

A. You could try the discussion groups and tech manuals in the book store at the WEF web site. You will need more information than you offered in your question to estimate the costs, as the cost will depend on the entire waste water chemistry, list of contaminates and their concentrations, and will vary with same as the process selected is usually based on the entire contaminate picture and discharge or reuse specs for the treated water.

Sincerely,

Mike McGinness
