Are there any devices out there to remove resist skins?
Can one use a goretex filter with back flushing?
What percentage of material is actually dissolved?
There are many different types of resist filters on the market.
Some work better with different applications. What type of application
are you looking at (i.e. resist type, stripping media, temp, conc., etc.)?
I could be more helpful if you could elaborate.
As far as dissolving resist, it all depends on concentration, temperature and how long
the resist is in contact with the stripping solution before it is separated.
Yes, there are many devices available for removal of resist skins.
Most stripping equipment manufacturers either have one available,
or can point you in the right direction.
If you are using a proprietary stripping chemistry, ask your supplier
about resist skin separators. IMO, the best type is a centrifugal drum type.
If plumbed correctly, this type can remove 95% of the resist in your solution;
greatly extending the bath life.
The amount of resist dissolved is probably minimal; it will depend on the parameters
of your stripping chemistry (ie, concentraton, temperature, spray pressure, dwell time).

Also depends a lot on resist stripping chemistry. Generally, the better and faster
the resist stripping chemistry, the more resist is dissolved.
